In the Mood for Great Asian Food Try Cherryblossom
This cafe always looked very inviting kind of European with dark woods and tile — we finally stopped for lunch. The place was hopping for a weekday and were greated warmly; seated promptly. Service was great.
The menu is extensive featuring noodle dishes from all over the world even Italian. We stayed with our Asian theme. We asked the waitress about how spicy the dishes were because I was looking for a more mild range. She was very helpful making suggestions.
Dishes Tried:
Gomoku Udom
For a starter I picked – Kake – a soup with steamed spinach and green onion. Very flavorful without the spices overpowering the soup.
Gomoku Yaki Udom (a Japanese Wheat Noodle). The dish consisted of pork, shrimp, calamari, shimeji mushrooms, The broth was a little salty but the dish was plentiful – loads of shrimp.
The food was appealing but I would give it an average — nothing makes it stand apart from the other Noodle Cafe’s.
