Poor service/ Food was nothing special
We dined here on a Sunday afternoon. We we’re practically the only people in the restaurant. For appetizers we ordered 2 egg rolls and 2 Spring Rolls. The appetizers arrived with one egg roll missing. The only condiment we received was a very small dab of sweet & sour and hot mustard sauce that came with the one egg roll. The Spring Rolls came with no sauce. We had yet to receive silverware. The server gave us a napkin roll which we assumed would contain silverware but after he departed we noticed one of the rolls was missing silverware. While we were waiting for the other egg roll and silverware the entrees arrived minus the fried rice we ordered. Ten minutes into our entree we received the other egg roll but we still hadn’t received the sweet & sour sauce, the hot mustard sauce and the entrees were cooling off while we waited for the fried rice. Thirty minutes later the fried rice arrived. Upon ordering a second glass of wine, the server took my wine glass away before I had finished my wine. I’m usually pretty understanding but this was the final straw. The entrees were not as described on the menu and they arrived erratically despite the fact that the server had no other tables and the restaurant was empty. The portions were small. The egg rolls and spring rolls tasted like frozen food. We were never asked if we wanted water or tea. The prices were high. Our bill was $72. This was a terribly disappointing experience having read the positive reviews about this place If you’re looking for Chinese Food in the Orlando area, I would highly recommend Kim Wu’s on Kirkman and Conroy. It’s much larger than it looks on the outside, the food is great and the service will blow you away.
