Going Steadily Downhill

Father and Son run, about a year it was a very good place to eat. Unfortunately they became complacent. The red sauce lacks teh freshness and flavour that it once had, veal portions have shrunk smaller than a wool sweater in the dryer on HIGH. It still remains decent and more than acceptable, but Frank and Charlie need to go back to basics.

Veal Parm

Perhaps as good as anything on the menu but portion size has shrunk considerably over the past year.

Pasta Bolognese

Again, deterioration of quality over the past year. The care to cook the vegetables properly has been neglected. Pasta, especially capellini not well drained – a sign of sloppy cooking.

Basic Cheese Pizza

Too much sauce, gets soggy too quickly but pretty good.

Good Italian, not a chain restaurant

Good food, attentive staff. No liquor licence, so bring your own wine! They do offer a complimentary glass of wine with every entree. A little out of the way, but worth the trip!
