Crowded 'dining room', good pizza
The pizza is okay here but doesn’t, for me, warrant coming early before opening to guarantee a seat. The pizza oven, take-out counter and cramped tables and chairs that constitute a ‘dining room’ are all part of one small room.
I don’t enjoy eating anything in a crowded setup where diners are practically sitting on top of one another and the guy at the next table at your elbow, is contributing tidbits to your table’s private conversation.
On my second visit I had a forgettable entree of pasta and ‘something’. I’d rather enjoy my food in a spacious area where the ambient room temperature isn’t raised by an inferno of a pizza oven.
Chicago Style Pizza does have good pizza but….. I haven’t returned.
