Our favorite place for Chinese
Nine of us gathered at Chen Garden to celebrate my Dad’s 87th birthday Saturday around 1:00. My husband and I have gone there now for almost thirty years. It’s the same family there, the same good service, and the same good food—even the same authentic feeling there (compared to some Chinese places in a small strip center).
When they found out it was my Dad’s birthday they graciously made us all a special dessert and led us in a round of HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Seems like everyone who becomes a regular customer loves the family.

Almond Chicken
I love the Almond Chicken and on the lunch menu it is so cheap! You get a good amount of the main dish with rice, an egg roll, soup, and won-ton. We also ordered some appetizers that were great!! There fried shrimp is delicious!

We all had a different dish from each other off the lunch menu, I remember it being about $5.50 each. Sesame Chicken, Beef Chop Suey, Garlic Shrimp, Chicken Fried Rice, to name a few—-no one had a complaint.
Actually we paid the bill and for nine of us on the luncheon menu and a three sets of appetizers, soft drinks the bill was $105. Can’t beat that!
