Small plates they say...but not really
First of all Claim Jumper has an awesome variety on their menu so there is something for everyone. I recently went during weekday happy hour. Not only did I get a glass of white sangria for $4 but they have a list of specially priced appetizers they call small plate.
Truly nothing we ordered was small though!
I was with one other person and thinking the portions would be small, we ordered fish tacos, black bean nachos, and a flatbread pizza. It was a massive amount of food…enough to take home leftovers.
What a good deal though, I think the bill was less than $30 with 2 glasses of wine.
You do have to sit in the bar but they have several normal sized booths so its not a big deal.

Typical chain
As chain restaurants go this is just another one. The menu isn’t anything spectacular – nothing you can’t find anywhere else (especially at other chain restaurants) for the most part. There are some unique items and they seem to do a lot with avocado. And they have a nice vegetarian selection too for those who prefer that. They do seem to have a nice variety too.
One thing I did notice is their website shows the menu and even calls out those items that are gluten free. Something different I thought.
