Oddly enough the 3rd covered bridge location is the best one to go to. Its in a regular building in saybrook.
The breadsticks are the best thing they have, and the salads are at a close second. The pizza is just okay. Every time i get the pizza theres always something wrong with it, its either too greasy or lacks sauce. Maybe its just me, but when i go to covered bridge i avoid the pizza. Ususally i get a giant salad and a soup with those teeny loafs of wheat bread.

They also have dinners and pastas, all the basics really.
I love the atmosphere in the bridges. Although i wish they would do something about the grafitti etched into every booth wall.

3 locations Half bridge in Ashtabula, Half bridge in Andover, and the 3rd one, the best one, in Saybrook.

Chef Salad

Basic Salad. Plus its HUGE, and fresh.

I never received any satisfaction for two large pizzas that my daughter bought for a family reunion in August of 2014. The pizzas had hot sauce on them and the grandkids were not able to eat them. After calling to complain the girl at the other end only laughed about it. Said the sausage pizzas always had hot sauce on them. I asked about the pepperoni having hot sauce and she and whoever else was listening just laughed about it. My grandchildren were not happy and I have stewed about the ignorance of the help there. We had eaten there many times before this but will never do so again. Not getting even an apology. These were carry out pizzas for a family reunion and I had told how tasty these pizzas always were.

Covered bridge pizza is one of the only pizza places that has a wheat crust. I’m amazed that they don’t advertise this more. The wheat crust they offer is amazing. Everyone should try this. The Ashtabula location is a very clean place and always has friendly employees. I absolutely love this place, the food is always good and the prices are very reasonable
