Dakota's Steakhouse

Excellent steakhouse with excellent service located in downtown Dallas, below street level (an elevator takes you down to the restaurant, with a pretty view of the outside dining area and waterfall). I went here for my senior prom a year ago, and my date and I were very well taken care of, with a gorgeous view next to the fire pit outside. We ordered fried calamari, which was very tasty esp with the sauce, and salads. Then came our entrees, my lamb chop and his new york strip (plus a HUGE portion of mashed potatoes). If you plan on coming here, you should plan on getting steak, cuz that’s what they do best… Finally, we had strawberry creme gelato for dessert, which was refreshing (even though I was about to bust a seam in my dress by this point in the meal) and even came with two candles, to celebrate me and my date’s upcoming birthdays :)

Overall, a truly memorable meal.
