Absolutely Fabulous
Loved loved loved the food. That’s all there is to say about this place. Usually I would say more about the ambience or parking or service but the food is simply terrific.
It’s smaller portions, like tapas, but pleasantly enough, more generous that the usual tapas places. Probably explains a slightly higher price tag… But I think it was worth it.
The only negative: the waitstaff checked on us every few minutes to ask if we were done. We understand that it’s Friday night, people are waiting, etc but a little bit more aggressive for my liking.
Still, wonderful food. Highly recommend it. I want to go back to try the rest of the menu… maybe tomorrow!

Roasted Squash, Farro, Whipped Goat Cheese, Hazelnuts & Watercress
My FAVORITE. This is a must try! The texture and flavor combination is so delightful. Soft farro (whole grains), a bit more solid roasted squash, and crunchy hazelnuts gave this dish a very unique and distinct appeal. This is atop whipped goat cheese, which you mix and toss together with the above at your table. I LOVED it.
Mascarpone Polenta & Ragu Of The Day
The ragu of the day had: italian sausage, veal, and what seemed like shredded beef. Polenta plated underneathe. I would ask for what the ragu of the day actually has. That might help you decide whether to choose it or not. I thought it was delicious.
Spada Davanti
I am a huge fan of swordish. This is a grilled swordfish dish with brussel sprouts. I don’t usually eat brussel sprouts but it was marinated so well and went perfectly with the milder medium done swordish.
Uovo In Raviolo ‘San Domenico'
A large ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, spinach, and egg. The waitress instructed us to cut open the ravioli to let the egg run a little and coat the ravioli before eating. I liked it but not sure if this is a “must try”.
