A food lover from Seattle, WA tried it, liked it, and rated it . They liked the food, liked the service, and didn't like the ambiance.

Eat! Eat Gouge Gouge
To start up with we phoned Eat Eat to see if we could get reservations as we know in the past it’s super packed on the weekends. They said it was pretty slow and it wasn’t busy. When we finally got to the destination there was a lot of parking in front and a lot of empty tables. We thought it was odd. But we sat down anyway and proceeded to peruse the menu. Last time we gushed and gushed about the eggs benny so we both had the Eggs Benny. Hubby had the trad ham and I went with the spinach tomatoe. For sides we added the sausages and bacon. Last time the sauages were super yummy not the box kind and the bacon was super chewy. This time the bacon was still really chewy but the sauages were nothing to write home about. Looks like they down graded the sausages to the commercial type. The egg bennys were still pretty good but the hash was overly cooked and some were burnt. Looks like everyone’s hash were cooked like that.
Service was dismal. One of chairs were broken and we asked one of the waitresses if we could get another chair. She sharply told us “Go for it”. I guess it’s self serve day. The other complaint was hubby’s coffee cup remained empty while others had theirs filled. He finally tripped the waitress to get a refill.
The damage for breakfast was extensive… $50. Me thinks we could go to one of those super buffetts and pay the same and better service. We won’t be going back.
On a side note, old flabby men should not go to resturants with tight black biking shorts. They should not parade themselves and stop in front of your table. If the hash browns didn’t turn my stomach, that certainly did.
Did I mention we’re not going back?
Dishes Tried:
Eggs Benny
While the eggs were cooked well. Minus 2 stars for over cooked and burnt hash browns and another minus for the sausages. For that kind of price, I’d walk across the street and buy some Spulombo’s sausages and cook it myself.
