Quick and easy
This market is Charles Villages’ staple for groceries. It’s a good quick place to get a huge sandwich and other deli items. Try to avoid the noon hour as many people find themselves waiting in the narrow aisle by the deli counter, debating whether to pick up that extra bag of chips or cookies.
Dishes Tried:
Turkey chili
I love their chili! They have beef too, but I like turkey for the healthier aspect. It comes in small or large. I would suggest to spring for that extra $0.50 or so for large. It’s a little spicy, but not much. Great rich taste! This is how chili is supposed to be made! The only thing I don’t like that it’s served in a styrofoam bowl though.
Brocolli knish
I haven’t tried too many knishes before, but I didn’t care for this much. It’s very dense and kind of dry. Not much sign of brocolli and even less sign of cheese.
