Great atmosphere
Edgewild had a wonderful menu selection and was moderately priced. Atmosphere was excellent and the service was wonderful. We had a large group and required separate checks. Our waiter handled it perfectly and with a good attitude.

EdgeWild Restaurant & Winery?
We have eaten at Edge Wild 3 times now. Each time the food was quite good. Our steak was prepared as requested Med rare. My husband and I split the meal, ordered an extra cup of soup and an side of squash risotto, which was excellent. The service all three times was perfect.
We were not impressed with the wine selection, very limited. We solved that problem by bringing our own wine. The corking fee was very reasonable, $10.00.
The ambiance was nice. Large bar, area where you can buy
chocolates and a cool fireplace. However, it is loud. They have
very high ceilings and voices echo. We were informed by the manager that they have ordered acoustic siding to manage the noise.
Yes, we will be back.

EdgeWild is a great addition to the St. Louis/Chesterfield dining scene.

Beef Tenderloin Trio was outstanding! Perfectly cooked – rare as requested…each medallion was separately topped with roasted
shiitake mushrooms, blue cheese butter, and dijon
mustard cream, served with mashed potatoes and
smoked gouda creamed spinach. Perfectly accompanied by a glass of the 2009 EdgeWild Rich Uncle Cabernet Sauvignon

Definitely try this place!
The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and warm, but it is a bit noisy, probably because of the high ceilings and wood paneling. I was there on a Wednesday and it was packed, so get there early or make reservations. Wine list is a bit slim with a lot of Missouri wines (not my favorite), but I had a nice Cabernet. I was with a large group and while the food service was a bit slow (as it always is with a large group) our server was attentive.

Buffalo Meatloaf wrapped in Panceta
I was torn between ordering several appetizers, but really, I just love meatloaf. However, this is not your mom’s meatloaf (or at least not my mom’s meatloaf). I am not a flowery food writer, so I’ll just say it was darn good and I would definitely order again. Served with a generous portion of creamy polenta and garlic green beans. I tried my friend’s butternut squash risotto and WOW, it was tasty!
