Everything I expected from a restaurant with a long history of amazing food. Quality food expertly prepared and lush decor…of course it comes at a price, but definitely worth the splurge.

Mashed potatoes with a rich lobster gravy and chunks of lobster. As delicious as it sounds.
New York Steak
Amazing flavor, quality beef and expertly grilled.
El Gaucho cocktail
Specialty cocktail – sort of a sidecar with whiskey and muddled oranges.
Key Lime Pie
If there’s room for improvement it’s to have a thicker crust. Otherwise it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

MY HUSBAND AND I AND A COUPLE OF FRIENDS DECIDED TO DINE OUT THERE AND IT WAS VERY SWANKY.
LOVELY ATMOSPHERE FOR A ANNIVERSARY DINNER OR IF YOU’RE TRYING TO WOW A FIRST TIME DATE.
WE ENJOYED OUR WAITER AND HIS VERY ELEGANT DEMEANOR. TOLD US STORIES OF WHERE THE FOOD ORIGINATED AND SUCH.
FOOD WAS SUBERB, ALTHOUGH, THE CAESAR SALAD WAS MADE TABLE SIDE WAS DISGUSTING. MY FRIEND ORDERED LAMB KABOBS AND THE SERVER BROUGHT THE KABOB OUT ON A FLAMING SWORD. TOTALLY WOWED US!!
I ORDERED THE CHICKEN OSCAR WHICH BY FAR IS THE BEST CHICKEN ANYTHING I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE. TOPPED WITH LOBSTER MASH POTATOES AND A COUPLE OF FRESH ASPARUGUS I WAS IN HEAVEN.
THE WINE LIST IS ENDLESS. GREAT SELECTION.
THE AMBIANCE OF EL GAUCHO IS UNFORGETTABLE AND SO IS THE TAB.
WITHOUT THE WINE BILL INCLUDING ENTREES, DESSERT AND FEW SMALL APPETIZERS FOR FOUR PEOPLE WAS AROUND 400.
THE BANANAS FOSTER IS OK, MORE FOR SHOW THAN FOR TASTE
