Best Burgers!

Elsa’s is Milwaukee’s ultimate people watching experience. It is definitely the best restaurant to be seen in and for looking at hot guys!…..oh, did I mention the food is good too. My APV Burger II was well-prepared and nicely presently with fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes. The home-brewed lemonade was a fantastic non-alcoholic option. The staff was very attentive and professional. Even though they didn’t take reservations, the staff was able to accommodate a large group. Looking forward to my next visit soon!

Would recommend this place!

Nice ambiance

Dragon Wings

The place is extremely popular, and in the middle of all the action in Milwaukee’s downtown area. Come early or you may be disappointed.
Ordered their Dragon Wings with the Waffle Fries and tangy dipping sauce, with a Four Seasons salad and Blue Cheese dressing. Large portions. Service was avaerage though the server was attentive.

One negatives the tables are FAR TOO SMALL for socializing and eating!

I can count on Elsa's for consistency and comfort food

Elsa’s is a predictable place to go with friends or even alone for a good time, good food and tasty drinks. I love going at odd times when it’s not as crowded and you can feel more relaxed and not as rushed. The ever changing art decor is always fun to see what’s on display. Elsa’s has managed to maintain it’s quality and standard even as other restaurants are popping up all around.

grilled cheese

The grilled cheese is delicious and reasonably priced, It comes with tomatoes and bacon as well as fries. You can never go wrong with this dish.

Great place for burgers!

Elsa’s on the Park has a lot going for it. It looks and feels upscale and trendy, but is welcoming with friendly staff. It’s busy, but able to handle the volume…if you don’t mind taking a little time over your meal. Good cocktails. Decent service. Good food.

I have eaten at Elsa’s many times for lunch, but this was my first experience for dinner. This time around I had the APV A Pork Chop Sandwich and Elsa’s Beet Salad. The sandwich had good flavor but was a little dry this time. I think also that the balance of meat to bread was a little off with the bread overwhelming the chop. I enjoyed it, but likely will not order it again simply because burgers are what they do best. Usually I have a Burger au Poivre which has never disappointed.

The Elsa’s Beet Salad with feta cheese in our case was excellent. It is a simple mix of greens, beets, cheese and vinaigrette, but they do a wonderful job with it. Tasted fresh. I really enjoyed it.

Go for the burgers, but give yourself time for the dining experience.

Popular, crowded place

I used to love Elsa’s. We went there quite often. But I must admit it’s lost a bit of its charm. It’s overly crowded and the food just doesn’t seem as good as it used to be. And it’s a bit expensive too.

But if you’re going for a night out on the town, this is a great place to start. There are usually a lot of people, and it’s in a great location. It’s right in cathedral square where there are concerts in the park on Thusday nights in the summer. And in July, there’s Bastille Days. So there is a lot to do in this area – why not stop by to check out the place.

Slow Service great ambiance

So this is a very busy location on Cathedral Square. Its gorgeous inside but it took me 20 min to find parking.
The service started out OK but then our server kept disappearing. It took a really long time for each course.
She brought out the appetizers at the same time as the meal. We generally had to wait 10-15 minutes for her to reappear at the table.
The food was good but for the price, not too much there to eat.
It would be a great place to meet for a drink or a drink and appetizers, not sure I would return for dinner.

GALETTES 'N GREENS

The dish that I had was very tasty but small portioned for the regular size at this price

GOLDEN GATE CAKE

The dessert was really quite good, highly recommend this choice
