Poor service
Wow, so incredibly disappointed with this establishment. This used to be our favorite Sandy restaurant, we were VERY frequent customers of the previous owners, but now that the ownership has changed we are not customers anymore. We have been once under the new ownership, we were happy that they were keeping the menu, but the food was not nearly as good. Tried to go again on NYE, called at 3pm to see if they were open. We get there in less than half an hour and they closed the door on us, after assuring us that they would be open until at least 5pm. Not how you run a business. When I wrote a message on their wall on FB letting them know it was us who called and when we showed up they were closed, they just deleted my post, no response, NOTHING. In a town that has such awesome customers service and tons of small businesses, I’d go elsewhere in search of good food and service.

Great Food and Service
I have not been to the Trout Pub in over 6 years because the service was not great and food was ok. My sister drug me there last Friday and I was pleasantly suprised! The service was good and the food was amazing. They had a new soup on speical and let us sample before we ordered it! I will be back in the very near future as this could possibly be my new favorite in Sandy.

The Beer Cheese & Broccoli Soup was outstanding! The salad was fresh and very tasty!
I also tried my sister burger and fries and they were both fantastic!

It used to be better, under previous management. Not the food, mind you, the food’s been the same as long as I can remember… but the service has definitely gone downhill. I was hoping the service decline would be offset by a menu change, but no.
