Five Guys

I first run across this place in Georgia, but never got to try there burgers which looked and smelled good when I passed the place. They finally they came to Tennessee so off I went to try one. This place was at The Oaks shopping Center in Murfreesboro. Open 7 days a week 11:00am to 10:00pm When you walk into five guys first thing you here is a big welcome and cruching at your feet. There is peanut shells on the floor and boxes of salted peanuts all round the place. I went up to the counter to see what they had, and all they had on there menu was bugers and fries and 100% Kosher Hot Dogs. Pretty much there name. You can get a 1/4 or 1/3 lb buger, (Fresh ground beef, never frozen) with about any free topping you want. The list had mayo,relish,onions,lettuce,pickles,tomatoes, grilled onions,grilled mushrooms,ketchup,mustard, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, A-1 Sauce, bar-b-q sauce, Hot sauce, Etc. well you get the general idea. With that you can order there seasoned or cajun style fries. The fries are freshly cut potatoes right out of the bag. They have 50lb bags all around the place. After you order you can grab a hand full of goobers (salted peanuts in the shell) and start crackin them and throwing the shells on the floor and munch while you wait for your order. The have coke and diet Coke, and coke products to keep you from getting thirsty and wash the peanuts down. When you get your buger its hot and fresh, and great tasting up there with the best. I going to put this place as one of my best buger places to eat at. They also have a WEB sight ( www.fiveguys.com) that you can find area locations around Tennessee so there might be around you, and was’nt to far from Woodbury, Tn where I live.
