lovely
This is a real restaurant, folks, not just good museum food.
Finally made it here for brunch. I had the blue crab eggs benedict—outstanding. The crab cakes were ALL crab, the eggs perfectly poached. It came with a small salad, I thought the greens were too bitter and did not pair so well with the benedict, but there was asparagus in the salad, a very nice touch. I found some pieces of yellowing greens. And then when I was almost finished, I saw a small piece of hair on my plate, hopefully it was mine. Minus 1 star for pieces of old greens and the hair.
The coffee was also very good, rich, strong, rounded.
Big huge giant kudos for going local. They are going to stop using imported cheeses, so they are really being true to their word about sourcing locally. Plus one star for being green.
The restaurant has very high ceilings, lots of window so everyone could see the spectacular view, and the tables are spaced far apart, so you can really feel at leisure.
Plus it was the perfect sunny, but not too hot, day to be at the Getty. And I dined with a really fabulous group of women.

Wonderful dining gen at the Getty Center
The Restaurant at the Getty Center offers wonderful culinary experience to a wonderful art/museum citing. Selected healthy dishes are served using fresh ingredients /produce /fish /meats that ‘ll leave a happy smile on your face. Sunday brunch can be a bit stuffy but a-la-carte menu’s also offered. The grilled or pan-sauteed halibut is savory to the last bite. Crowded on weekends so reservation’s recommended. Parking $8 w/ tram ride to museum /restaurant.

Food 3 stars, view 5 stars. Wonderful service but just know that the Junipero Champagne Cocktail has gin, hence Junipero Gin, which didn’t make for a very good cocktail!
Kinda pricey but the view was worth it. Entrees were about $30-$40ish depending. The food was great and it was a lovely experience to share w/a close friend or business dinner. Very quiet, serene setting.
