This old-time N. Stamford staple had a brief decline in recent years, but is now better than ever. The recent change from Anthony’s to Giordano’s has reinvigorated this family owned and operated restaurant. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food was superb. The wine list is reasonable and extensive. The garlic bread is addicting! If you buy the full dinner, make sure you come hungry!!!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. This is the original Giovanni’s but they changed the name. The food is the same….I’d even venture to say better than before! The menu has something for everyone and the staff is always friendly. It’s a good place for either a family meal or a romantic date. Even a business lunch! I recommend it highly!

Welcoming owners and staff. Casual atmosphere. Tried their new happy hour menu. Pink grapefruit martinis are delicious and the homemade fried mostarella triangles are to die for!

All entrees come w/ salad (try it w/garganzola cheese) and tasty garlic bread. A real value. My favorite entree is the Cavitelli!

Large private rooms for special events. Heard from the owner that they cater weddings, anniversarys, birthdays…everything.

Enjoyable experience. Will go back again and again.

Great location on long ridge road just north of the Merritt parkway. Excellent choice in food and wine all reasonably priced for high end eating in Fairfield county. Prosciutto and melon, clams casino, gorgonzolla chesse salad, followed by the double porterhouse steak for 2. Simply the best Steak you will get next to Peter Luger’s in brooklyn, and who wants to go to brooklyn. Attentive wait staff, Wine list priced to move inventory not assault expense accounts. Great choices in Steak, Veal, seafood and traditional italian dishes. Wonderful experience.

We’ve been there with just my husband and with my whole family… and every time we’re there, we’re never disappointed. The food is done to perfection. Their filet mignon (medium rare) is moist and juicy, their swordfish is to die for, and I can’t leave without their scrumptious dessert.

For anyone who hasn’t tried this place, you won’t be disappointed. :)
