Some of the best breakfasts are served in hotels. Seriously, you need to go and see what kind of food is offered because hotels do its best to draw customers to its restaurants. Harold’s Bistro & Bar is one such place. Located at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel on Westminster Highway, they serve a great breakfast feast.
There is a choice to make: do you go for the buffet or just order from the menu? Quite honestly there is no wrong answer to this one. It just depends on the level of your hunger.
There are two levels of buffet styles: Deluxe and Continental. The Deluxe will offer more that includes fresh orange juice, croissants, assorted danish pastries, muffins, a selection of cereals, homemade granola, dried fruits, fresh seasonal fruits, cottage cheese, low-fat fruit yogurts, fresh scrambled eggs, smoked maple cured bacon, country sausage, home fried potatoes, hot oatmeal, chicken congee with Chinese doughnuts, pancakes, French toast or Belgian waffles, Starbucks coffee and assorted Tazo teas. Obviously the Continental selection doesn’t offer all the hot foods. It’s a good deal at $18 for the Deluxe version. You get a choice of practically everything and really get your money’s worth.
Buffet is served from 6:30am – 10:30am on a daily basis. I say if you cannot get into IHOP or White Spot, definitely make a stop at Harold’s Bistro & Bar because they will serve something completely different that will really capture your stomach.
