Hickory Cafe & Grill

I absolutely love the tag line of Hickory Cafe and Grill: “Our ingredients are fresh, our customers are spoiled.” That is absolutely fantastic and true to the mark. The food experienced at this place is fantastic. I can’t pick anything on the menus that is bad.

The sandwiches are incredible. There is so much flavor and taste with each bite that you do not want the experience to end. I loved the Uptown Chicken Sandwich as the combination of grilled chicken with brie and bacon hit the spot. All sandwiches are served with french fries, cole slaw or grilled vegetables.

The salads are just as impressive. My companion had the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. Was it ever plentiful and extremely tasty! I’ve tasted this type of salad before but never in this manner. I think the parmesan cheese made the difference with its freshness.

While the only dessert available on the menu is White Chocolate Bread Pudding, after tasting this delight, there is no need to advertise anything else. It is truly out of this world.

Hickory Cafe & Grill has created a great casual, quick service restaurant. The quality of ingredients in its food really shines through with each consumed morsel. It makes a huge difference and one of the reasons why this place is hopping during lunch time.

I’ve only had the pleasure of eating here once so far (right before writing this review) but I will definitely be back… we all will. Not only did I, a veggie hater, LOVE the grilled veggies but the Grilled redfish poboy was fantastic (could have used some softer bread, but hey, that’s a poboy!). My co-workers salad was HUGE and COVERED in yummy chicken. They were even nice enough to let us order a Caesar salad with a different dressing. Yay! Hickory Cafe! See you later this week!
