Underwhelming
This restaurant is located in the Old Market, and affiliated with the Oven chain in Lincoln. I was here for supper. There was a choice to sit inside or outside; I started off outside, but the brutal summer heat was too much for me, so I moved inside to eat. Another couple had the unfortunate luck to sit underneath a leaking air conditioner, and they had to move their seat as well.
The menu fits on one large page, double-sided. There are both vegetarian and meat choices. I chose one of the main plates that included either lentil soup or a mixed salad.
While it seemed like I waited forever, I was in and out in about 90 minutes. However I was disappointed with my meal and would probably not return.
Dishes Tried:
chicken Goa
You get 6 large chunks of chicken breast, swimming in a cashew and coconut sauce, and no veg other than salad before. I found it to be quite bland and the sauce was magnetically attracted to my clothing. I replaced the rice with Naan.
Strawberry Lassi
This is a yogurt-based drink. It was cold and refreshing, with a pretty pale pink hue.
