Hoagies and Wings

Are they sure they want to be in business?? Went in to get take out. It took 25 MINUTES to get my food. There were two tables of diners there, they both had gotten their food right after my order. The guy doing the cooking was watching TV!! I thought he was still frying up the wings but I couldn’t hear any frying. So I had to walk up to the counter, and only then did he get back to my order. He then schlopped the hot sauce onto the wings while still watching TV. A co-worker had gone here a few weeks earlier, he said he walked in, neither of the guys working there looked at him or even noticed he was there, so he left.

Got the hoagie/wings combo: chicken hoagie and 4 wings. I really liked the hoagie because the chicken cooked with the onions was really good: very small pieces of chicken, so that it seemed smothered in the onion and juices. Too much mayo. The bread was just right for this sandwich, soft but still had some crust.

The wings were decent. In the 8 minute drive back to work, they got soggy. The sauce was slopped onto the wings and didn’t cling. The container of ranch dressing was sitting on top of the hot styrofoam container so it got kind of watery.

Three stars only because of the chicken in the hoagie.
