Great dining!!
We drove an hour and a half to dine here again. Our waiter, John Y., was exceptional, attentive, friendly, and remembered us from a visit 8 mo ago. Food was outstanding! Sushi fresh, served attractively, and quantity was good. Our bar drinks were well made and the dessert was good. Was not crazy about the cookies but everything else was terrific. Not the cheapest place to eat but fresh sushi is an expensive item everywhere. We will definitely go there again…thanks John, you made our visit very pleasant-again!!

Gem in Sterling!
My husband and I read about the review in the Washington Post about a month ago, and were very happy to learn of this gem outside the district lines! We sat at the very cool sushi bar and were completely entertained by both sushi chefs- Brian and Yoshi. We had the very tasty and somewhat unique tropical roll- tender fresh salmon roll with a delicious mango dipping sauce. The Post mentioned the crabcakes were the best around, but as you can imagine, we were skeptical. All i can say is that you have to have them yourself to believe the hype. I’ve lived in the area for over 30 years, and these are by FAR the best I’ve had in a long, long time. We indulged ourselves to the tropical tapioca pudding to finish- and again were blown away at the freshness of each item. Service was pretty good- attentive and the food was delivered fresh off the grill. Very cool atmosphere as well- highly recommend!!
Dishes Tried:
Cajun Grouper
We also split a handsome piece of Cajun Grouper- light, well cooked with a perfect compliment of spice- not overbearing. The portions size was much bigger than we expected
Tropical Salmon Roll
Extremely fresh and very tender. All of the signature rolls that we saw being prepared were much bigger than your standard size big rolls, so while the price may seem a little high, the value is very fair.
Crab Cakes
wow wow wow! Can’t say enough. Huge pieces of jumbo lump crab and the size must have been 4 oz each (if you’re not familiar, i’d say most crab cakes are in the 2 oz range). Very tender as if just picked. They say no bread filler, which must have been true b/c we couldn’t find any. The remoulade sauce was delicious, but don’t use too much- enjoy the crab!!
