Il Bagatto

Love this wine bar… I think it maybe our new favourite haunt. It reminded me of Rome. Great selection of Italian wines and the service and atmosphere was just excellent. Love it!

I stumbled across this place by accident and am going to be a new regular! The host/owner is hilarious and the food awesome (if you’re into rich, home-style Italian as I am). Great busy vibe, not the best if you’re looking for quiet and subtle, but hey, traditional Italian aint like that!

I haven’t had pasta like this since I was in Rome. Our whole dining experience was totally charming beginning to end. Lovely waiter and the desert was particularly good.

We had absolutely delish PEI Mussels here. My husband is a kind of Italian dining freak (he lived in Genoa growing up) and is super picky. He was super thrilled with everything. We had a great bottle of red too, helpful waiter there. Go for sure.

I had a wonderful dinner at Il Bagatto about 6 years ago. It was one of the most memorable experiences TO DATE for many,many reasons. I can see it’s still hitting the mark. The house wine is amazing and I agree, eat the specials.

Wonderful Italian. The gnochetti with spinach & gorgonzola sauce are rich and delicious. If the calamari and the pasta with duck ragout are available as specials, EAT them!
