Nice cafe for working, mediocre food
Part restaurant, part cafe, I’ve always been hesitant to come in just to work since it looked more like an eating establishment. Now that I’ve eaten here, I think I’ll come back more to work than to eat.
The menu is average casual Japanese – assorted noodles, fried foods, curries, rolls, etc. Boba is a bit pricier than usual ($3.25), but I guess if you’re gonna stay to work and use the wifi, it’s reasonable.
There’s seating downstairs, a few tables outside, and pretty spacious upstairs. There’s no ambient music and the lighting is pretty good so it makes a nice place for quiet studying or working.
Dishes Tried:
Chicken Katsu Bento Box
Chicken katsu was a bit overcooked, but the taste was ok (actually a bit sweeter than usual). Comes with 3 pieces of california roll, 1 gyoza, salad and rice. All were passable, but not great. Rice tasted a bit old.
Milk Tea Boba
