I'm Irish and they would not serve and immigrant
Went to John and Elaine’s in point pleasant with my 9 year old son today and we were treated to my first EVER direct racist event in 20 years of being in the US ! They refused to serve us because I am Irish and an immigrant ! ( 1103 Richmond Ave, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 ) WOW
We went to the restaurant on a strong recommendation ( July 1st 2017 at about 9am ) and was shocked when they refused to serve me because I am a naturalized immigrant ! ( I’m originally from Ireland and I have not lost my accent ) I went in to the restraunt ( party of 2 – me and my 9 year old son ) and the people in front of me were seated promptly , the party behind me ( of five ) were seated promptly and a party of 2 , who arrived 5 minutes after us were seated promptly … realizing that the restraunt was at less than 1/2 full , i asked as to when we may be seated and was told “it will take a very very long time and that they did not like immigrants taking American jobs” – I pointedly observed that I am a citizen, that I had worked from the day I arrived, legally, and that my son is American born and left ….
DONT GO HERE they are racist and bitter
