Marmalade...Looks odd but tastes like home.
For an all day breakfast joint you will find some great dishes, and reasonably priced ($8.95-$13.50). Our meal was flavorful and with just the right amount of food. I went for something basic, scrambled eggs, Wildfire Bakery bread, roast potatoes (overcooked, and a bit dry), with a side salad in a tasty ginger-sesame vinaigrette. I sampled my friends hollandaise sauce, which was delicious and lemony. The service was meh, not great but not terrible. Perhaps, fitting for the laid back vibe of Lady Marmalade? The decor is eclectic and retro. For anyone who grew up in the 70’s and 80’s you will find a mishmash of vinyl chairs, orange and brown floral dishes, random stuff from when we were kids. The music was unnecessarily loud and distracting. It was also pretty stuffy and hot although, we were seated right in front of the big windows. Overall, a decent meal and a “taste” I would definitely try again.
