Affordability in Little Tokyo

Las Galas is located in Little Tokyo at the front of the Japanese Village. This restaurant offers seating indoors as well as outdoors. The restaurant is small, so you might be somewhat limited with where you can sit depending on how busy the restaurant is. If you sit inside, you can watch TV (soccer was on the day I happened to be there). Outside, you can watch people entering and exiting the Japanese Village. If you’re a people watcher and enjoy a combination of shade (they have umbrellas hovering over outside seating) and sun, you might want to sit outdoors instead. Condiments are easily accessible outside, so you don’t have to worry about walking in and out to get condiments if you choose to sit outside.

If you’re tight on money and want to eat at a restaurant located in the Japanese Village, Las Galas would probably be a good choice for you. (In comparison to other restaurants located at the Japanese Village, Las Galas offers food at a more reasonable price.)

They offer a diverse selection of food ranging from salmon teriyaki bento boxes to Chinese chicken salad. If you’re up for authentic Japanese food, Las Galas probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re hungry and want to buy food at a reasonable price, as well as receive a generous proportion of food, Las Galas is the place for you. (I’ve seen their bento boxes and they’re reasonably priced.)

I added the spices onto the burger. - Veggie Burger at Las Galas

Veggie Burger

I’m giving their veggie burger a high rating simply because it’s hard to find restaurants that can make veggie burgers without using boca patties as a meat patty alternative. This particular veggie burger contained a soft patty. It’s great for people that don’t want to spend a lot of time chewing on their food and it’s also great for those that want to digest their food well. I initially found the veggie burger to be expensive, but after I gave it more thought, I realized that $4 is reasonable considering that it’s a veggie burger you’re ordering from a restaurant as oppose to a fast food restaurant.
