Beautiful view. Good food. Great place for a romantic night. Make sure to dress to impress here though. I would have given it 5 stars, but the view is better than the food and service! You will remember the atmosphere more than the filet.
Expensive and busy. Reservations are a must.

Food and service, wow!
Only one complaint. When a place ADVERTISES “every night is saturday night in the lounge” (meaning there is entertainment), they need to keep their word. Last two times I went, specifically for dancing in the lounge and drinks, there was nothing to dance to, and one of those nights was a Saturday.
If that’s what you want, call ahead before you leave home…

Great Service...Fabulous Food...Outstanding View
What can I say. The Lemont; a Pittsburgh tradition is still one of the best places in the city. The atmostphere is outstanding with the gold and crystal over the top decor only overshadowed by the view of the city. We were lucky to get a window table and a clear night.
The service is excellent catering to your every need and then some you did not know you had. You are taken care of by several fine servers all with specific duties like butter, water, etc. A true dining delight. Although Lemont is on the pricey side, it is worth every penny to go there for a special occasion. To bad my birthday is 9 months away!
Dishes Tried:
Onion Soup Au Gratin
I bet this is one of the best onion soups I have ever ordered. The presentation was spectacular. The soup is served in a pedestal tureen covered in a crusty layer of aged cheese browned to perfection dripping down the sides of the tureen. Once your spoon breaks the crust of cheese you discover a rich and superiorly flavored broth full of onions. This was a true delight to the start of an excellent meal.
Roasted Raspberry Duck
I adore duck if it is done right and Lemont is on spot with the free range duck. The skin was crisp while the duck was moist and tender. The portion was large and covered in a sweet raspberry sauce which complimented the game. Served with mouthwatering mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked al dente carrots and asparagus, this was comfort food at its best. On a side note I tasted the rack of lamb and it was exquisite. I think that is what I will order next time I have the luxury of going to the Lemont.

Great Place for Light Up Night
Great place for Light Up Night. Four of us dined here for this special evening and had a great time. It almost sounded like New Year’s Eve it was such a festive environment. I enjoyed a filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The green beans and mashed potatoes were a little on the cool side, rather than hot. Our other guests said the same thing. Their fish seemed to have cooled off by the time they got it. Overall it was very good with attentive and courteous service.
The Le Mont needs someone to keep up the ladies room. It was messy with toilet paper all over the floor.
