Log Cabin Inn

Love this place!
Moved to town and got the local take on where to go for good eats.
This was by far one of the highest and most frequently recommended.
I usually have their mussels appetizer which when ordered with a side of pasta is a meal. The mussels are tastey & plentiful in a white wine, garlic and pepper sauce with a slight spicey bite.
The prime rib dip is a wonderful offering too.

Their $1 Yuengling special is awesome and their craft beer list is extensive and includes tastey seasonal beers.
The wait to get in well worth it.
And should you choose to eat at the bar – Jamie the bartender on weekends is phenomenal and makes a spot-on mixed drink and offers plenty of wit & a smile on delivery of it!

And on a random Friday eve at the bar, we had the pleasure of meeting the local stately & dapper gentleman who was the hunter who mounted much of the game that hangs in the original portion of the restaurant. He is pictured as a younger man under each of his mounts and is friendly in sharing local history.

Their Peanut Butter Pie and the Raspberry pie are homemade, rich and flavorful.

The Log Cabin Inn was such an enjoyable place to have lunch. The selection of dishes is large and well made. Get ready for “out of this world” over-sized desserts made at the restaurant. Delicious !! There is a choice of outdoor seating with a woodsy view or dining room seating with a woodsy view via a huge picture window. If you like cocktails, there is a full service bar. Service was exceptional and very friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Log Cabin Inn.
