Please change the name!!!!
It is defamatory to call it Lupe’s. I used to love it, now it is horrible. Prices have doubled, 1,2,3 item combos are $10,$15,$18. Three terrible tacos with rice and beans are $18. The cheese was grated months ago in Nebraska and shipped on the back of a goat. It has the white powder of freezer burn on it. The rice is so bad , Lupe is not rolling a burrito. She is rolling in her grave.

I used to frequent this restaurant in the early years and it has always been sentimental to me and our family. But in the last year since the “remodel” that place has gone down hill. The prices go up every time i eat there and just this last time the service was slow and terrible. The food took forever coming and I did not get any refills on my drink.
We were waiting for the check and a box from a server that seemed to blatantly ignoring us due to the fact I had 2 children with me. My 3 year old was getting restless and wandered 3 feet from the table to a fountain and a pot. He peered into the pot and lost his footing because it was as big as him and he and the pot came crashing to the floor. The way the staff handled it was fantastic. They even asked me for my name and phone number to “check up on my son” or so they told me. I even considered writing a letter to that extent. Then before I even got home I had a message from the owner who insisted I pay for the pot and that my child accidentally broke it because he was out of control. Then she accused me of not being able to control my children and told me to never come back to the restaurant with my children again. So much for “family friendly”. I will never eat here again. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!!!!!!

Our very favorite Mexican restraunt – well worth the wait, which you will have unless you call and make reservations. The waitresses are very friendly and good – Love the “busboys”. Lupe’s has the best homemade chips and salsa. Tacos are like the Red Onion – best refried beans – Have to eat here at least once a week or we go through “Lupe Withdrawl”
LOVE THIS PLACE…
