While Italian cuisine involves many meats, cheeses, seafood, and vegetables, most of us associate Italian cuisine first and foremost with pasta. Pasta comes in many shapes and sizes, and each more

Everyone who’s frequented a casual-theme restaurant or fast-food establishment knows Caesar salad, chef’s salad, and Cobb salad. But how did these menu staples get there and why is it important? more

Italian in downtown Bellevue

You won’t have to worry about getting full at Maggiano’s. Their portion sizes are huge. I would compare Maggiano’s to Bucca Di Beppos, but more upscale, better food, and a nicer atmosphere. This restaurant is really hopping. Waits are sometimes 1-2 hours, so be sure to make reservations or try the bar area for seating which has a full menu. This restaurant is huge and can also do banquets. They also have a happy hour 4-6pm on weekdays.

My dish was pretty tasty. Luckily they are not sacrificing quality for quantity unlike Bucca’s.

We get it in full size; it tastes so so, but portion is rather impressive! - Chicken Cacciatore (1/2 order) at Maggiano's Little Italy

Chicken Cacciatore (1/2 order)

A tasty stew of chicken, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions. Quite flavorful!

Nice atmosphere; okay food

I take my Italian food very seriously after taking a cooking tour in Italy last year. While the portions at Maggiano’s are huge, the food is just okay.
Everything is over done, too much sauce, too much cheese, just too much. I always leave full but also feeling really heavy.

What a Wonderful Place to Eat

This is probably one of the most delicious Italian restaurants I have eaten in. We had about 5 different items and each was individually delicious. The service was great. And we could hear ourselves when we talked among the group.

Beef Medallions, Portabella Mushrooms, Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Chicken Scaloppine, Marsala Style

Chicken & Spinach Manicotti, Maggiano's Style

Bombalina Platter

Rigatoni D®, Chicken, Mushroom Marsala Sauce

Maggiano's Signature Spumoni

Very tasty and priced well (surprisingly)

It’s quite good. I can’t remember what I ate, but all of my coworkers liked their entres as well…so it’s a good sign that quite a few of the items are good.

The only problem is that the wait could be long. It opened about a year ago, but the wait for a typical dinner can be 2-3 hours for a drop-in. Make sure that you make a reservation…even for a lunch!

Large Portions and friendly services

I came here a couple times only. I think pricing is above average for lunch, but portions are very large. I like their cheesecake more than cheesecake factory.

Little quality

The food is of average to low quality. It’s like an Italian Denny’s. Sure the portion sizes are huge…so probably more of a family resteraunt then the decor suggests.

I would not go back again by choice, and have actually turned down several business dinners. No thanks!

This Tastes Okay, but even 1/2 is huge - Calamari Fritte at Maggiano's Little Italy

Flavorless not crispy

This restaurant is consistently fine for food, service and ambience. The lobster special was fabulous.

Wonderfully rich and perfect combination of meat and pasta.
Service was quick and friendly on a very busy Friday night

Good location in the mall

Lots to do when waiting, kid friendly staff and kid menu but portions are large enough to eat family style. High chairs, coloring, booster seats.
