Great food, terrible owner!
The food is amazing, the managers are awesome! The servers are not too bad either. But there is one major flaw in this restaurant; one of the owners, and the executive chef, Chef Louie. The guy is literally a terrible person, he’s loud, rude, and a horrible owner. He’s constantly talking down to all of the employees at the restaurant, even in front of the customers and can be heard yelling throughout the restaurant in an extremely unprofessional manner. You only need to hear this unpleasant guy speak one time and you’ll understand that he doesn’t offer his employees constructive criticism, but instead he criticizes all of the people working hard just for the sake of criticizing, and to make himself feel better than his employees. The people that put the money in this owners pocket are treated as if they are children, stupid, and not worth Mr. Louie’s time. It’s a shame to see such an amazing restaurant with a truly amazing set of people working there taking orders from such a poor excuse of an owner. Furthermore, although Louie did create the menu, and to his credit the food is amazing and he did a wonderful job, this executive chef is never seen in the kitchen at any time. He is only ever walking the floor criticizing his employees as I mentioned before. This particular restaurant has a very hard time keeping people staffed for an extended amount of time as you’ll easily notice if you visit the location a few months apart and with a terrible owner like Louie it’s no wonder why that is the case here. I would recommend trying this place for the most part, but I’d also recommend calling in before hand to make sure there won’t be an angry, short chef running around the restaurant yelling and disturbing your meal. But if you dare, go and see this for yourself, it won’t be hard to spot this owner, he’s a very very short, Italian guy with slicked back hair and always a scowl on his face, he seriously never smiles. And if you see him talk to any employee, I assure you that you’ll be disgusted. I wish the restaraunt best of luck but they need to make a wise business decision and cut Chef Louie out of the picture.
I had the classic meatballs which were amazing especially with a dollop of ricotta cheese. The Chicken Nino was absolutely fantastic but I’d make a few variations to the entree next time around. And WOW the desert menu is spectacular! My girlfriend and I had an ice cream sandwich and you can tell the cookie top and bottom are baked in house, just amazing.

Chicken Nino
Excellent dish with the prosciutto ham onto of the fried chicken cutlet and a solid 1 centimeter of melted mozzarella cheese! The marsala sauce they make in house is a little sour form personal preference and I’ve had better but it didn’t take away from the dish too much. I wasn’t as crazy about the shoe string potatoes that come with the dish, the Chicken cutlet lays onto of these string potatoes. I would recommend opting to switch the side for the potatoes of the day instead.
