Mely's Mexican Cuisine

I tried Mely’s today on the recommendation of some friends and will never make the mistake of going there again. My friend ordered some seafood and it was so salty he couldn’t eat it. When he talked to the waiter, he was told that’s the way they make it, take or leave it. I tried to get a regular Mexican dinner and all you can order is one of their entree’s with only a minimal amount of food then you have to order everything else from an expensive ala-carte menu including enchilada at $2.50 each, not $2.50 and order, EACH. The restrooms weren’t just dirty, they were unsanitary. the commode wouldn’t flush and the duct taped the floor drains closed. The service was abominable. You had to flag down a waiter for any and everything and we were the only people there at the time. As soon as you were done, they hovered over you until they got their payment. All this for more money than I would have to pay at one of the other area Mexican restaurants.

Terribe food and service. Ceviche is based on salty tomato soup-a rather novel approach to the dish but it doesn’t work. The manager would not discuss my complaint with me. Avoid at all cost!
