Wonderful evening on the patio!
To celebrate the arrival of summer, I hosted a group of about 12 on the patio at Mia Famiglia on a balmy Wednesday evening. We were treated like “kings and queens” and had a wonderful time on the patio… our servers were an absolute delight and the food exceptional. There are so many good things to love about Mia Famiglia but my personal favorite is their wine list. I think they take really good care to select wines and vintners that you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Earlier this spring Mia Famiglia introduced a new tapas menu which I selected a beet salad from to start my meal – just delicious! I selected the walleye served with the pan-fried gnocchi for my entree – just suberb! And for dessert I shared their “36 layer” crepe cake – outstanding! So light and just divine.
I have previously dined at Mia Famiglia and had their thin crust pizza which was also very good.
If you really want to treat yourself to an excellent meal, make sure your next reservation is at Mia Famiglia!

Mia Familigia is a secret jem in the Milwaukee area. I truly love the sense of family on the patio and the colorful, organic and creative specials. The entire family takes part in the love and passion that is put into the one-of-a-kind meals. The atmosphere makes me feel like I am on vacation and the flavors our out of this world

Toscana Pizza, Scallops and Risotto
The Toscana pizza is nothing like I have ever tasted anywhere before. Thin crust, fresh chicken, pancetta, fresh spinach, carmelized onions, white sauce. Just describing it makes me want to go back and have another right now! Jumbo Sushi grade Sea Scallops with beet risotto and topped with goat cheese. All I can say is WOW. Service was great. The quality of food is top notch! Outstanding Mia Famiglia. You should be proud!
