In the past few years, this spot has changed names more times than a mother changes a newborn’s diaper. The good news….Mia’s, its newest incarnation, is incredible. I have avoided this location for years due to the many name changes, but after noticing that the Mia’s name had been there for what seemed like over a year, my daughter and I decided to give it a try.

We hadn’t eaten all day, so we welcomed the complimentary fresh bruchetta and bread basket. The bruchetta was so fresh and good that we decided to try a bit of everything. We started with a Caesar Salad and a Caprese Salad. When my Caesar arrived I requested some fresh shavings of Pecorino and lo and behold I was accommodated graciously..without an upcharge! The Caprese actually had a balsamic reduction rather than just the usual balsamic and olive oil combo and it was terrific. Then we ordered the Chicken Francaise with a side of linguini in garlic oil and my daughter asked for a ‘custom’ pasta dish of penne, broccoli topped with fresh cubed mozzarella. Our waitress, Lisa,, let us know that the kitchen has no problem creating anything you want as long as they have the right ingredients to get the job done properly. Everything was so good that we finished it all; something we never do anywhere.

When we were done we were given a complimentary fruit plate with watermelon, oranges and grapes; a perfect and light finish to a memorable meal.

The owner, Mia, came over to introduce herself and she was lovely beyond words. In times like these it made me truly appreciate her over the top welcoming manner and her chef’s impeccable cooking skills for a very reasonable price. This is a place that deserves to thrive, and I recommend it HIGHLY. Try it…you’ll love it!
