Good Stuff
Normally, to get us “old folks” to drive to the other side of Lakeland, it takes a session at Abuelos – but we decided to give another spot in the same general area a try – Mimi’s – There was a positive article in the paper recently about them helping with a charity (can’t remember which one, but it left a nice feeling). It’s probably only about 20 miles from us (each way), but we give some thought to going “that far” these days – and don’t want to be out after dark!
Dishes Tried:
Homemade Corned Beef Hash & Eggs
I had the two eggs over easy with corned beef hash – good stuff, not greasy. The eggs were “just right” – no hard spots!
Pancake Breakfast
Husband enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes – even cheated and had the regular syrup!
