Amazing yogurt gelato!
Very. Good. Gelato.
We were in Italy this past autumn and we became quite spoiled with a couple of gelaterias in Rome. Mio Gelato is the best we’ve tasted outside of Rome thus far.
We tried three flavors: yogurt, raspberry and pistachio. The raspberry tasted like a fresh berry bursting in your mouth, amazing. The pistachio, too, tasted just like eating a handful of pistachios but with the cool creaminess as an added bonus. The surprising star of the bowl (at least to me) was the yogurt flavor. Regular yogurt doesn’t even taste as good as Mio Gelato’s yogurt gelato! How do they do that?!?! I could’ve gone back for more, it was wonderful.
Mio Gelato is now a must-see when we’re in Portland!
