Morton's Steakhouse - when you want the best steak

We were all in the mood for a good steak — Morton’s chain of aged prime beef. You know it will be good. Forget your diet. Forget your budget. The portions are generous – always left overs.

Our waiter gave us a little history that the meat for all their restaurants have the same suppliers — in the Chicago area. That’s probably why the meat is always so top notch. And consistent from one location to the next.

The bar mixes a mean Martini.

Dishes Tried:

Porterhouse Steak

I knew the main dish would be plentiful so I ordered a chop salad and split it with one of my other dinner guests.

The steak was done to perfection. It could not of been better. The taste of their aged beef is so good. No need for any sauces on this meat.

I did also try the bacon & onion macaroni & cheese and creamed spinach. They were rich and flavorful.

The only negative everything is so rich and heavy..so bring your appetite.

Service was good – and they were really busy – when are they not!

Worth the trip for a great steak.
