First and last time visitor

My decision to try Charlies was a disappointment. Although to restaurant was not crowded we were made to wait in the foyer for 10 minutes. When we were seated I explained to the greeter that the table was not suitable because we were expecting guest. I was admonished for not pointing that out in the beginning. We were led to a both that had barely enough room for a grown man to squeeze into. I ordered a beer. I was told to produce an I.D. I did but feel that older patrons should not be put through this. If I look old enough to be a grandfather common sense should be allowed. I ordered chicken tenders. The were overcooked and dry.I was unable to find my waitress to complain so we started eating. I couldn’t find the waitress during the entire meal. I eventually asked for help and only then did my waitress return. Overall I would not recommend this place. It was clean enough but the service was bad and the food was subpar.
