- The fried calamari was great. The sauce they used was very delicious and tangy. I really enjoyed this with a Thai tea.

Snuggled in the Elephant Bar plaza on Stevens Creek, this Thai restaurant is easy to miss, but well worth the trip. Try to get a seat on the right side of the restaurant if you can (you need to take off your shoes for the traditional cushioned “thai” seating though). I like to order their Thai Iced Tea, because (unlike most places) it’s free refills! The Chicken/Beef Satay with peanut sauce or fried sweet potato is a good appetizer to start off with. If you’re eating with a lot of people, both the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice are good (delicious) choices. I’m a huge curry fan though, so that’s what I usually order when I come. The Yellow and Green curries are both extremely good (depending on what you like). My favorite is the Peanut Curry with Beef though. It’ a sweeter curry… and the beef is so tender it’s amazing. Go to Olarn with a big party for dinner and they usually bring out a plate of complimentary desserts at the end of your meal (Fried Bananas, Coconut Ice Cream, Sticky Rice, and Mangos = YUM). Definitely a restaurant worth trying.
