Where'd the 20 somethings appeal go?
Seems Restaurants Unlimited has seriously overhauled the former Manzana’s from the Pacific Group they bought out. The menu is not as rustic as it once was. Gone are the times of the Rotisserie chicken used throughout the whole menu, now the menu is “fancy” and the ambience modern contemporary. Goodness there’s only 1 TV I spotted, hardly a place I would be comfortable in for Happy Hour. Anyhow, the food is still top notch, table service great, Amount of Time waiting on Entrees AWFUL. 40+ minutes for 1 entree of Chicken. And the restaurant was barely 1/3 full on a Monday night. Cooks standing around…at least the server kindly offered us a free sample of Tiramisu.
Dishes Tried:
Mushroom Soup
Ingredients: 2 types of Mushroom, Very Creamy, with Sherry Drizzling, Leeks & Caramelized Onions. The soup was delicious, though I expected a larger helping for $7.50. It was about 2 cups worth of soup.
Chop Chop Salad *STARTER*
Ingredients: Turkey, Salami, Garbanzo Beans, Lettuce, Vinagrette. The salad was delicious, thought I expected it to be more affordable then $9.00. It was only 2 cups worth of salad.
Rotisserie Chicken
Ingredients: Marinated Chicken, White Beans, Rapini, and Tomato Confit. The chicken was delicious and filling, had to get a to-go box for the helping served. Well priced.

SPIDERS AT THE DINNER TABLE
The restaurant was very loud with screaming children and I was seated by the kitchen so constant banging in the background. We placed our drink order and a medium-sized spider walked across the table. We asked our waitress, Brooke, to get the manager. The manager, Eric Welford, was very slow to come to our table, did not seemed too concerned and starting discussing extermination issues with us at the dinner table. Our entree order was wrong so we had to wait longer for our food. Overall, the food portions are too big, greasy, cheesy and the lobster ravioli barely had a piece of lobster in it! While waiting for our check, ANOTHER SPIDER walked across our table. Again, the manager did not have much to say.
Dishes Tried:
Crab &Artichoke Dip
Very greasy, tasteless pizza crust crackers
Lobster Ravioli
Order is big enough to feed a family, cream sauce was terrible and barely a piece of lobster in the lobster ravioli.
Kobe Ravioli
Weird tasting mix of Kobe, sausage and spices on the inside – not worth trying.
