Very Very Small Overpriced Menu...
Panda Express is new to Sulphur Springs. I had not eaten
there because of my experience in another of their stores.
My niece was visiting and two of her friends were with her,
they had grown tired of my cooking & wanted to go there
to eat…
I tried to tell them that the other two Chinese Buffets had
food that was just as good and much more to chose from.
Trying to explain some thing to a teenager is like herding
cats and in this case they were three of them, all female…
We went in & I told them to get what ever they wanted, one
had the two entree one side (I did also) the other two had a
bowl, they put one side in and put the meat on top. My Niece
and the other friend that ordered the bowls had broccoli and
string beans as a side and Kobari beef as their entree. The
other friend & I had Orange chicken and sweet fired chicken
breast as our entree, she had the broccoli and string beans
as her side and I had white rice..
The beef and our sweet fired chicken breast cost extra.(The
basic price for a Panda bowl was $5.49 the two entree plate
price was $6.49) drink was extra We were all Coke fans and
they didn’t sell any Coke products, we all had water @ $2.50
a bottle…the total was $37.00 something they rounded it up to
$38.00 and the difference went to a thing for children, it was
about the only think they did that I liked…
When my Sister picked them up I took them to the Broadway
Buffet and we had the all you can eat buffet for $35.00 and a
drink was included. The girls liked they had many food items
I explained that with one more person eating all they wanted
the bill was less than Panda Express,
They said I should have taken them to eat here the first time.
Grrrrrr Teenagers…
Panda is right off I-30 lots of places to park, easy off & for the
Interstate, I am sure the “Name Brand” will attract many people
and they won’t miss me, or me them…
Dishes Tried:
258. Two Entree Plate
Food was OK…Overpriced and every thing was extra
NO Coke Products… I don’t plan on a return trip..
