"Its worth the trip. They have a take and bake option for any of the pizzas. Not much space to sit inside, tables outside though, and even when 4 of us crammed inside on a cold day, everyone made us feel welcome. DELICIOUS pizza!"

Simple, Great Execution

Small Pizza Place off of Park Circle in North Charleston. I believe this used to be EVO pizza. But anyway, this small pizza restaurant turned out to be a great little spot to grab a slice… or 8. With 4 tables, 2 inside 2 outside and 3 seats at the bar, this restaurant is good for a quick bite, but best for take out and delivery.

From the menu, one can quickly see that Park Pizza has put an eclectic spin on the ubiquitous pizza delivery Idea. Choose from the Gourmet, Mod, or Delux (which includes a She Crab Pizza) sections of the menu, or even build your own from their selection of both traditional and rather unique ingrediants.
With the build your own pizza you choose your base (Marinara, olive oil, and even black bean spread to name a few), add your choice of cheese(s), a protein, veggie & fruit, and/or others. Each category is stocked with ingredients for you to build a seemingly endless combination of pies.

What I Ate:
I ordered a Blue Angus pie, my fiance had the Indian, the little one had a Jude, and for dessert, a pumpkin pie…pie.

It was all surprisingly great. The pies are made to order so you will have to wait 110-15 mins, but the staff takes their time to get it right. Opposed to other pizza chains, the food isn’t rushed, and the extra time they put in pays off.

Blue Angus 10" pie

10" pizza With olive oil, mozzarella, horseradish, roast beef, caramelized onions, and bleu cheese.

The pizza was phenomenal. I substituted the olive oil base for marinara, but it probably would have still been great with the olive oil. The Roast beef was flavorful and tender, and the bleu cheese and horseradish added great depth to the dish. But what really set this dish off were the caramelized onions. The sweetness of the onions took this simple sounding pie to another dimension.
