Yummy Brunch

Went to brunch with my bride of 29 years and had a WONDERFUL brunch. I did an appetizer brunch with the Cream of Crab soup and the Explosive Shrimp Tower. The Cream of Crab was great with huge lumps of crab in a delicious, thick cream base speckled with crab roe and a hint of sherry…YUM! The Explosive Shrimp Tower was a SUPERSTAR! Spicy, garlicky and delicious with tender shrimp stuffed in a tower of garlic bread (for sopping up all the delicious garlic sauce). You will want to roll in it! Ragin Ruth had a superb veggie Omelette with roasted potatoes. My only complaint was the 10 minute wait for the hostess, who was too busy doing other things to seat us. Finally had to flag a waiter to find her. Otherwise, it was a great brunch.

Excellent Food and Presentation

We took my uncle, who was visiting from out of town, there for dinner one night. He noticed the Zagat rating right away. After eating, I have to say, Patricks earned that rating. The crab cakes and crab balls were excellent; all the food was beautifully presented. Portions were sizable, and if I’d have had more room, I’d have eaten more. I really loved the fried tomatoes, and the football paintings from the Unitas era along with the Sinatra music were soothing. We plan to go back, but next time, just the two of us.

Colossal Crab Cake Dinner

Excellent taste, well cooked, fresh, no fishy flavor

Red Fried Tomatoes

Very tasty with the panko and parmesan breading. This is not something that’s easy to find on most menus, so it was a pleasure to see it offered outside of the city and on the western shore.
