Pros
"Many choices and food always consistently good"
"There are no pro's. It was once the best buffet around until the restaurant changed management/ownership or cooks. It instantly went from great to I won't go there again. "
"Best Chinese food I have ever had."
"Decent fresh Chinese."
"Every thing is excellent."
"Everything was very good! It was a great experience dining with EK. "
"Consistently great food and service. Loyal patron for years."
Cons
"Being a very popular place means you may expect a delay when getting close to prime dinner time. Their take out business is huge, so remember their kitchen has to deal with that too. I usually go around 5pm"
"None!"
"I have observed demanding and obnoxious customers serving up large portions of "pomposity" with a dash of appreciation and a generous helping of religious showmanship. This represents my only distasteful experience at EK. I would never hold "

Fantastic

Best Chinese Food Ever!
Service is not the best, and a little slow when they are busy, but well worth it! Crab Rangoon is excellent and Sesame Chicken is the best I’ve ever had.
Tables are a little cramped together, but the big buffet boat is really neat.

Sesame Chicken

A little pricier than some places, but the portion size is enormous. Great flavor, not too crispy but not soggy at all!

Crab Rangoon

Tasty!

Awful...anywhere else is better

This is an “avoid at all costs” restaurant. Ordered takeout. Food was over an hour wait after the scheduled time. This was helped somewhat by the fact that there were plenty of other folks waiting as well with which to talk. The staff was unbelievably rude and unapologetic about their error. I watched the host insult another guest in the same predicament as me. When I got home I called and spoke to the manager about the awful service. The manager was even ruder and mocking and actually suggested that they didn’t need my business and hung up on me. The orange beef was fatty, gristled and covered with a cloying sweet and oily sauce. The egg rolls were burnt on the outside and still frozen in the center. I am truly amazed that this place is in business.

Orange Beef

Orange peels with army beef and rice….topped with frosting. Fatty, oily, sweet disaster. Any mall Chinese restaurant is hands down better than this.

The closest description of the recipe would be this:

1/2 lb stew meat and connective tissue
1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup Karo syrup
1/4 cup orange peels
1 cup oil (any brand)
1/8 cup corn stanch

Fry beef in oil until lifeless then 1/2 hour more
Add remaining ingredients. Stir.
Allow to come to room temperature.
Serve.

Good Chinese Food

This place had good Chinese food. I would definitely go there again. It was convenient too – right on a very popular strip in Brookfield.

It’s a typical Chinese restaurant – you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. So as Chinese restaurants go, it’s definitely worth trying. See what you think.
