A Dissapointing Experience
Being a big fan of PF Changs, I anxiously awaited the opening of there scaled down restaraunt Pei Wei’s. I went there a total of three times since it has opened a month or two ago. The first time I went, the food was fair. The next two times, the food was horrible. The Orange Peel Chicken and white rice was extremely dry. The Pad Thai noodles didn’t even come close to tasting the way they should. The Terryaki Chicken Bowl was dissapointing. Surprisingly, the lettuce wraps were very good. My wife and a friend of ours were very dissapointed. The service is excellent and the people are friendly. It’s just a shame that the food is very poor. Three strikes and your OUT!!

Orange Peel Chicken and white rice was extremely dry.

Horrible, couldn’t eat it. Had to throw it away.

Very dry. Even though I am sure it was not, it tasted like warmed up food.

Super Delicious!!
I love the food here, and the smell is incredible while you wait for your food to be freshly prepared. I would have given 5 stars, but on crowded evenings, it’s a bit noisy in there.
They have a great gluten-free menu, too! Not just one or two things like most places.
You order, sit down, and they bring your food when it’s ready. I would’ve tipped much more for full service, that’s why my tip % is so low.

Lettuce Wrap
So delicious! Love the fresh, crispy lettuce with the hot savory chicken and the sauce OMG! Then there’s the crunch from the crispy rice noodles that sets it all off!
Wonton Soup
I am absolutely addicted to the Wonton soup! Fresh, slightly salty broth with tender wontons and fresh basil. SO GOOD!!
Orange Peel Shrimp
Hot, crispy shrimp enveloped in a sweet and spicy citrus heaven! It was delicious, though I’d love to see more veggies in it. It’s got sugar snap peas, onions, and carrots, would be better with more of the snap peas and maybe some broccoli and scallions. LOVE this flavor!
