- Friendly staff. Excellent soup with fresh ingredients. Their soups, chicken and beef, are great for colds. I try something new with every visit and everything has been great. I highly recommend.

Comfort in a Bowl!
Please Note – I wrote this review earlier this year after a long road trip back from a central Florida theme park vacation. I was really in the mood for some comfort food. Pho Saigon delivered!
After my less than experience at Emeril’s Orlando, and after staring at 350 miles of billboards touting every kind of fast food known to mankind, I arrived back home from vacation, both in need of a hot shower and something good to eat. Comfort food.
Suitcase unpacked, and freshened up after that hot shower, I ran the car through the car wash and went straight to Pho Saigon for a bowl of pho. A born and bred Southerner, comfort food to me is much more than Sunday lunch at grandma’s.
There is something so comforting about a steaming hot bowl of pho. It smells wonderful. It tastes wonderful. It feels good in your tummy, and it’s a very healthy choice.
I had the flank steak and meatball pho. Heaven in a bowl. With bean sprouts, noodles, cilantro and basil, you put it together your way, even with a squeeze or two of Sriracha to spice it up if you roll like that! Then, while the herbs are infusing the broth and the sprouts are simmering just a little, you close your eyes, lean into the bowl, and just inhale.
The broth is the real deal. Simmered down from bones and spices and whatever other magic is in there, it is a palette of aromas and steam that you can almost bathe in. Surreal.
Everything else my family and I have tried at Pho Saigon is delicious and served fresh and hot. Please go and find out for yourself. Just remember, this is Vietnamese. It’s not Chinese. Not even close. Open yourself up to a new experience. You will be glad you did.
Back to the road. As much as fast food is the scourge of the earth and as big an eyesore as those aforementioned billboards are, it’s nice to know that a place like Pho Saigon is the pot of gold at the end of the I-75 rainbow. There should be miles and miles of billboards for Pho Saigon… a place worth driving 350 miles for!
