Piatti Restaurant

Piatti has opened their patio for the summer and after getting a table for two outside, our meal appeared to be starting out nicely. However, I should have known from the sour expression on our waitresses face that we were in for trouble. After dropping off our drinks and promising to come right back and take our order, she disappeared for ten minutes, only to reappear and take the order of the table next to us who had just arrived. A further ten minutes later she came back to ask us how we were doing . . .

Service aside, the food was tasty. However, mine seemed to be heavy on the oil. I very quickly developed a queazy stomach which was made worse when I got the bill and realized that I was about to pay a lot of money for bad service and a stomach ache.
