Dishes Tried:
Jerk Beef
This is the spiciest thing on the menu. Really delicious but real spicy. Watch out!
Rack Memphis Pork Ribs
Great ribs, but not the best I’ve had.
BBQ Meat and Rib Combo
A good combo – the beans, slaw, and cornbread are great too.
The Barbecue Belt
This is an insane amount of meat. Only for those who enjoy eating mass amounts of food.

Boston area's best overall BBQ
The decor is like an old barroom, crowded closely spaced tables, but the service is fast and very friendly. But it’s the FOOD that keeps me coming back. Very tender ribs, lots of southern soul food, and mixed with several genuine Texas BBQ and Mexican specialties. This time, I tried their Chili Verde – and it’s the very best I have ever tasted! Better than in Mexico City. It’s enough for a full meal by itself. Collard greens were like home, and there was great cornbread to sop up the potliquor. The onion straws were like homemade onion rings – good but nothing special. We ordered a large order of St. Louis ribs to share and took half home. I’m on the South Beach diet, and this place rocks for me. There are plenty of low carb dishes, but enough of the other stuff to tempt you too.

Best I have ever eaten; better than in Mexico City. Tender pork in a rich green soup loaded with cheese and served with homemade corn tortilla chips. YUM!

Finger Lickin' Good!
Redbones ribs are out of this world. Have tried all different styles and choice really depends on mood, but most recently had the baby backs with hush puppies and a special with baby backs and fries. The ribs were fall off the bone de-lish and plenty of leftovers to enjoy again for lunch the next day.
Other favorites include the pulled-pork, which we sometimes get as take-out and use for sliders, and the St. Louis ribs with sweet or hot sauce (again, this depends on the mood – as well as personal preference).
Atmosphere is very laid back and not for everyone. If you’re at all uptight this is probably not the place for you.
Funny dessert option called “White trash sundae” – We ordered just because we were curious. It was good, but next time we’ll save room for their yummy slices of pie.

Baby Backs And...
Baby backs are fabulous. The meat falls off the bone and you can’t beat the price on the 1/2 rack and fries special.
St. Louis Style Ribs
St. Louis style ribs are tender and meaty. I enjoy mixing the sweet and hot sauces together for a sweet taste with spicy kick.
Corn fritters
Love these with maple syrup. Nice sweet touch when eating ribs with a spicy sauce.
Pint of Pulled Pork
The pulled pork makes great sliders. Fun game-day food.
